Post Facial Care
Here are some tips for post-facial care: After your facial….
- Hydrate: Drink 6–8 glasses of water a day to help flush out toxins and keep your skin cells functioning.
- Moisturize: Use a gentle moisturizer to replenish moisture.
- Be gentle: Avoid harsh skincare products and toners for a few days. If you have sensitive skin or are prone to allergic reactions, do a patch test before applying any new products.
- Avoid the sun: Facials can make your skin sensitive to sunlight, so avoid direct sunlight for at least 72 hours. When you do go outside, wear broad-spectrum sunscreen and a wide-brimmed hat.
- Avoid strenuous exercise: Avoid activities that increase blood circulation to your face for 24 hours, as this can cause discomfort, redness, and other side effects.
- Avoid picking at your skin: Don’t touch, rub, or apply pressure to the treated area.
- Avoid makeup: Let your skin breathe and recover by skipping makeup for at least 24 hours.
- Use clean towels and pillowcase: Prevent dirt and oil from clogging your pores.
